Karenjit Vohra, famously known as Sunny, was born on May 13, 1981, in the city of Sarnia, Ontario, Canada. She was born in a rather orthodox Indian family and is a sikh by religion. Her family had settled in the United States and this forced her to also blend her roots with the North American way of life.
Post high school, she opted for a career in modeling and acted as well. After a spell in the adult film industry, which she did in order to gain notoriety, turned to Bollywood films where she became a household name. In India, she has managed to make reach greater heights in her career regardless of the stormy past she has faced.
As a young woman, she engaged in a lot of activities. After finishing high school, she enrolled in a nursing program at college, but she’s always had aspirations in modeling and entertainment and, thus, took another route.
